Monsters

Handbook

Class D -- Not major concern, can easily be handled. Class C -- Typically less common, should only be dealt with by those trained to do so. Class B-- Dangerous. Only should be dealt with in groups of highly trained individuals. Class A-- Rare, and conflict should be avoided at all costs. Locations where these monsters dwell are typically marked out. If one chooses to confront one, it is to be done at their own risk.

Jikdu

Class D

A bird-like creature incapable of flying, it poses little threat. It may destroy crops, peck small children, and be a nuisance-- however it is of little danger to society

Floral Pomlin

Class D

Native to the valley of Fleurhana, this common monster is typically found in groups of 3-5. Though they are typically non-violent, they are incredibly territorial. Sometimes they settle near civilizations or frequently travelled areas, and they may attack those who wander too close.

Barlabaz

Class C

5-foot/1.5 meter long (on average) insect. It flies, emitting a buzzing noise that alerts people of its presence. The barlabaz is known for stinging, and is able to do so repeatedly, which may lead to severe injury or death. However, they are easily defeated and typically do not attack unless provoked.

Arinmapin

Class B

A fierce, wolf-like creature that breathes a scalding steam and uses its large. scaly tail to balance. It walks on two legs, and uses its tail, claws, and mouth to attack. It is incredibly aggressive and will attack without warning.

Ackic

Class A

Shown in this sketch is an ackic in its juvenile form. They typically dwell in oceans, and mature ones are usually known, but travel freely and independently. Baby ackics, however, travel in groups until they are large enough to attack on their own. Ackics will consume any type of live meat within seconds, leaving little time for their victim to react.

Beware. You have been warned.
